This study retrospectively analyses data from a paediatric hospital in Bamako, Mali, focusing on bloodstream and sterile site infections caused by non-Salmonella Gram-negative Enterobacterales. The dataset includes children hospitalised between 2005 and 2023 with fever (≥39°C) or suspected invasive bacterial infections. Blood cultures and other sterile site cultures were collected as clinically indicated. Bacterial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) were performed using standard disk diffusion methods. This study provides whole sequence genomic data on isolated pathogens, contributing to the understanding of antimicrobial resistance trends in paediatric Gram-negative bacteraemia in West Africa.
