Muscle fiber conduction velocity, EMG and force data in individuals with chronic ankle instability

This database presents 9 sheets with data from subjects with ankle instability and from healthy controls, including: clinical and anthropometric data, scores from functional tests and clinical historty for elegibility criteria; anterior drawer test and reabilitation history. EMG and force data are described in separate sheets. Subjects perfomed tasks of dorsiflexion, eversion, inversion and plantarflexion and gastrocnemius lateralis (GL), peroneous longus (PL), tibialis anterior (TA) were assessed during isometric tasks in 10, 30, 50 and 70% of the maximum voluntary isometric force. From these tasks, we extract using HD-EMG (64 channels matrix) EMG RMS, EMG Sample Entropy, Force mean, standard deviation (SD) and force coefficient of variability (CV). We also calculated the muscle fiber conduction velocity of all muscles in all % force level.
