To provide insights into the fate of transposable elements (TEs) across timescales in a post-polyploidization context, we comparatively investigate with genome skimming five sibling Dactylorhiza allotetraploids (Orchidaceae) formed independently and sequentially by unidirectional hybridisation between diploids D. fuchsii and D. incarnata.
为探究多倍体化后不同时间尺度中转座因子(transposable elements, TEs)的演化命运,本研究采用基因组浅层测序技术,对5个姊妹异源四倍体红门兰属(Dactylorhiza)物种(兰科Orchidaceae)开展比较分析。上述异源四倍体均由二倍体D. fuchsii与D. incarnata通过单向杂交独立且依次形成。
