Model benchmark between ASCOT and ORBIT in SPARC

The dataset contains the inputs and the results of ASCOT simulations, which were benchmarked with respect to code ORBIT. The bechmark consisted of simulating redistribution of fusion alphas due to MHD in SPARC. The results show a good agreement between the two codes. ASCOT simulations were carried out by Steve Scott. The simulations were done using ASCOT version 5.5.

本数据集收录了ASCOT模拟的输入参数与计算结果，该模拟已以ORBIT代码作为基准开展验证。本次基准验证的模拟对象为SPARC装置中磁流体动力学（Magnetohydrodynamics，MHD）效应引发的聚变α粒子再分布过程。结果显示，两款代码的模拟结果吻合度优异。本次ASCOT模拟由Steve Scott完成，所用版本为ASCOT 5.5。
