Antimicrobial Resistance: Emerging Threats and Innovative Strategies

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the greatest challenges to global health in the 21st century. This project aims to understand how bacteria develop mechanisms to resist antibiotics and why it is becoming increasingly difficult to treat common infections. By identifying resistance genes, studying clinical strains, and exploring new control strategies, we seek to generate knowledge that will improve medical treatments, strengthen epidemiological surveillance, and raise awareness in the community about the responsible use of antimicrobials.

抗菌药物耐药性（Antimicrobial Resistance，AMR）是21世纪全球健康领域面临的最重大挑战之一。本项目旨在阐明细菌产生抗生素耐药性的作用机制，以及普通感染的临床治疗为何正愈发困难。本项目通过识别耐药基因、研究临床菌株、探索新型防控策略，以期形成可优化临床诊疗、强化流行病学监测，并提升社会公众对合理使用抗菌药物认知水平的相关学术成果。
