European Grain Legumes Dataset

We collected and digitized the grain yields of the most cultivated legumes across European countries, comprising both published data from papers in international journals, and unpublished information from the experiments of the European projects LegValue and Legato. Records were integrated into an open-source, and easily updatable dataset, named “European Grain Legumes Dataset” (EGLD). Data permit consolidation of the scientific knowledge on environmental and agronomic factors affecting pulses yields in Europe. Additionally, the EU yields potential maps according to current soil and climate conditions can be drawn. <br> Here we provide the dataset, the list of the sources from where the data were retrieved, and the instructions to access the dataset, together with the codes used for the figures.

本研究收集并数字化了欧洲各国主栽豆科作物的籽粒产量数据，涵盖国际期刊论文中的已发表数据，以及欧洲项目LegValue与Legato实验的未公开研究资料。所有记录被整合至一个开源且易于更新的数据集，命名为欧洲豆科作物籽粒产量数据集（European Grain Legumes Dataset，简称EGLD）。该数据集可整合欧洲范围内影响食用豆产量的环境与农艺因子相关科学认知，此外还可基于当前土壤与气候条件绘制欧盟区域产量潜力分布图。
本次研究同步提供该数据集、数据来源列表、数据集获取指南，以及用于绘制相关图表的代码。
