This dataset accompanies a scoping review examining the neurotoxic outcomes of post-weaning exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in rodent models. The dataset compiles results from a systematic literature search across PubMed, Embase, and Scopus, conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. Screening and data extraction were performed through a hybrid human–AI workflow that integrated manual review with automated screening via ChatGPT. The dataset includes ChatGPT’s classification outputs for title/abstract and methods screening, reviewer selections for calculating inter-rater reliability (Cohen’s and Fleiss’ kappa), and extracted data from full-text analyses of the included studies. Thirty-five studies met the inclusion criteria, representing diverse PCB congeners and mixtures administered to mice and rats during adolescence or adulthood. Extracted parameters include species, strain, sex, exposure window, dose, route of administration, and reported neurotoxic and behavioral outcomes. Neurotoxic endpoints encompassed oxidative stress, calcium signaling disruption, alterations in neurotransmitter levels, apoptosis, and changes in gene expression, while behavioral outcomes included effects on locomotion, anxiety, learning, memory, and cognitive flexibility. The dataset provides a record of screening decisions, methodological reproducibility, and synthesized study characteristics.
