Baynes Sound Carbon Dioxide Sensor Deployed 2023-05-04

The Pro-Oceanus CO2-Pro CV (SN 36-323-75) was deployed on 2023-05-04 at Baynes Sound. Baynes Sound is located between Denman Island and Vancouver Island. This device is a Carbon Dioxide Sensor. Carbon Dioxide sensors monitor CO2 levels in the ocean. CO2 sensors measure the partial pressure, or the concentration of dissolved CO2 in seawater by a variety of techniques. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.本数据集搭载的Pro-Oceanus CO2-Pro CV型二氧化碳传感器（序列号SN 36-323-75）于2023年5月4日部署于贝恩斯湾（Baynes Sound）。贝恩斯湾位于迪纳曼岛（Denman Island）与温哥华岛（Vancouver Island）之间。该设备为海洋二氧化碳传感器，用于监测海洋环境中的二氧化碳水平。二氧化碳传感器可通过多种技术手段测量海水中溶解二氧化碳的分压或浓度。本次部署依托固定式观测平台完成。本批次部署所获取的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外共享，且严格遵循既定规范开展了质量保障工作与衍生数据产品的生成流程。
