Dataset of picophytoplankton abundance, carbon biomass, POM, and environmental variables of the northern Indian Ocean

The dataset includes information on picophytoplankton abundance, carbon biomass, particulate organic carbon (POC), particulate organic nitrogen (PON), and environmental variables such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, fluorescence, and inorganic nutrients from the surface to the deeper layers of the euphotic zone. The scientific cruise expedition was conducted in the northern Indian Ocean during the fall intermonsoon period. The SK374 and SK373 datasets include results from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, respectively.

本数据集涵盖超微型浮游植物（picophytoplankton）丰度、碳生物量、颗粒有机碳（POC）、颗粒有机氮（PON），以及温度、盐度、溶解氧、荧光值与无机营养盐等环境变量数据，采样范围覆盖真光层从表层至深层的水体。本次科学考察航次于秋季季风间歇期在北印度洋海域开展，其中SK374与SK373数据集分别对应阿拉伯海与孟加拉湾的科考采样结果。
