The dataset comes from 58 sites on the Chinese Loess Plateau. They include site information (point number, climate station number, place, province, and geographic coordinate), daily rainfall (P) and evapotranspiration (ETp) from 1961-2010, soil hydraulic properties (θr, θs, α, n, and Ks) of 0-10 cm, daily leaf area index from 1981-2010, and projected daily rainfall (P) and evapotranspiration (ETp) for 2011-2099 using HadCM3 (Hadley Centre Coupled Model, version 3) under A2 (Medium–high) and B2 (Medium–low) emission scenarios.
