Rainwater harvesting in the field under spatial and temporal rainfall variation is important to enhance nutrient availability and uptake, this, improves crop growth and yield under rain-fed farming. Rainfall data collection on daily basis is important to study variation within and between cropping seasons. Land utilization efficient is among important indices used to study multiple cropping experiments as this case of maize and pigeon-pea inter-cropping, This is reflected through land equivalent ratio.

在降雨时空变异条件下开展田间雨水收集,对提升养分有效性与养分吸收至关重要,进而可改善雨养农业模式下的作物生长与产量。 逐日采集降雨数据,对于探究种植季内与季间的降水变异具有重要意义。土地利用效率是研究多熟种植试验的重要指标之一,本研究以玉米与木豆间作试验为例,该指标可通过土地当量比(Land Equivalent Ratio)得以体现。
