As representatives of hydrated transition metal oxides, molybdic acids are known for their applicability as novel energy storage materials related to their pseudocapacitive ability. Our project seeks to elucidate the quantum state of protons confined within an interlamellar space of molybdic acids using a combination of structural and dynamics neutron probes. Neutron diffraction will be used here to characterise the average structure, and will be complemented with total neutron scattering work for the elucidation of the local structure.
作为水合过渡金属氧化物的典型代表,钼酸凭借其赝电容特性,被视作极具应用价值的新型储能材料。本项目拟结合结构与动力学中子探针技术,解析限域于钼酸层间空间内质子的量子态。本研究将采用中子衍射技术表征其平均晶体结构,并辅以总中子散射实验以解析其局域原子结构。
