The registers record the movements of files from various branches of the Lands Department, principally the following: Miscellaneous, Alienation, Lease, Roads, Sales, Occupation, Returned Soldiers' Settlement, Ministerial Branch, Local Land Board and Closer Settlement. For each file the following information is recorded: date of receipt of file, the registration number of the file, to whom the file was issued and the action taken on the file. (3/6635-36). 2 vols.
