VPRS 3775 Casual and Relief Typists' Salary Cards (see Microfilm copy VPRS 3781)

Casual and relief typists were employed by schools and the Education Department to cover absences of permanent staff or periods of higher level need. These green cards were created and maintained by the Finance Division to record and monitor payments made to them.Each card has the name and address of the employee. Where persons were employed by more than one school or section of the Department, it became the practice to create a separate card recording details from each employer. Details given are of the period of employment, the number of days, the rate of payment per day, the school (by school number) employed by, the gross payment, deductions such as taxation, net payment and date passed (for payment). Summary cards for each financial year and each alphabetical group give details of gross and nett amounts of payments and deductions taken.

学校与教育部门曾雇佣临时打字员与替班打字员，以填补正式员工缺勤或业务需求激增时段的岗位空缺。财务部门负责创建并维护此类绿色记录卡，用于登记与监控向上述临时及替班打字员支付的薪酬款项。
每张卡片均记录有雇员的姓名与住址。若一名雇员受雇于多所学校或教育部门的多个科室，则通常会为每位雇主分别创建一张记录其相关用工信息的卡片。
卡片上登记的信息包括雇佣时段、出勤天数、日薪标准、雇佣学校（以学校编号标识）、薪酬总额、税款等扣除项、实发薪酬以及付款审批日期。
针对每个财年以及每个字母序分组，均设有汇总卡片，用于登记对应组内的薪酬总额、实发总额及各类扣除项的明细。
