THE IMPORTANCE OF UNDERSTANDING SOCIAL AND NATIONAL IDENTITY IN PROTECTING YOUTH FROM THE INFLUENCE OF COSMOPOLITANISM THROUGH PATRIOTIC EDUCATION

This study examines the significance of fostering patriotic education among youth as a strategic response to the expanding influence of cosmopolitan ideologies in the context of globalization. The proliferation of global media, social networks, and transnational communication has intensified exposure to universal cultural models that often overshadow national traditions and weaken emotional attachment to one’s homeland. The research emphasizes that strengthening social and national identity awareness plays a crucial role in preserving cultural continuity, shaping civic responsibility, and promoting social cohesion.
