To study microbial community structure in response to increasing pollution level of organic as well as heavy metal pollution in different polluted site in comparison to unpolluted site.This study shows better systematic understanding of microbial communities present in polluted habitats and its developing strategies for in situ bio-remediation protocols for reclamation of these polluted sites. This also covers candidature of specific bacterial communities as a bio indicator of pollution.

本研究旨在对比未污染位点与不同污染位点,探究微生物群落结构对有机与重金属污染水平升高的响应特征。本研究可深化对污染生境中微生物群落的系统性认知,并为构建用于污染位点修复的原位生物修复(in situ bio-remediation)规程提供参考依据。此外,本研究还探讨了特定细菌群落作为污染生物指示物(bio indicator)的应用潜力。
