We focused on the association of gut dysbiosis and ischemic stroke, its brain injury and early outcome. A training patient cohort was conducted and a stroke dysbiosis index (SDI) model was established based on the gut dysbiosis pattern in ischemic stroke patients. Another patient cohort was conducted to validate the predictive model. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to assess the association of SDI and admission outcome. Animal model was applied to investigate the potential causal effect of disturbed gut microbes in patients on acute brain injury.
本研究聚焦于肠道菌群失调(gut dysbiosis)与缺血性脑卒中(ischemic stroke)及其脑损伤、早期预后之间的关联。研究首先纳入训练集患者队列,基于缺血性脑卒中患者的肠道菌群失调特征构建脑卒中菌群失调指数(SDI)模型;随后纳入另一组患者队列以验证该预测模型。采用多因素logistic回归分析评估SDI与入院结局的关联;同时构建动物模型,探究患者体内紊乱的肠道微生物对急性脑损伤的潜在因果效应。
