Data underlying the publication: Dominantly Aseismic Nucleation of Laboratory Earthquakes: A Quantitative Investigation

This dataset provides all the data that were used to produce the results presented in the following study: "Dominantly Aseismic Nucleation of Laboratory Earthquakes: A Quantitative Investigation". The data are composed of mechanical data and acoustic data and were collected during stick-slip experiments conducted on cylindrical samples of Indian metagabbro. In this study we used acoustic emissions prior to stick-slip instabilities as a proxy to foreshocks prior to earthquakes.本数据集涵盖了用于生成下述研究成果的全部数据：《实验室地震以无震成核为主：一项定量研究》。该数据集由力学数据与声学数据组成，采集自针对印度变辉长岩（Indian metagabbro）圆柱试样开展的粘滑实验。本研究将粘滑失稳前产生的声发射（acoustic emissions）作为地震前震的替代指标。
