Repayments made by SMEs in Great Britain 2011-2017

This statistic illustrates the repayments made by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Great Britain (GB) from July 2011 to December 2017. During this six year period repayments made by small and medium enterprises fluctuated. In July 2011 repayments by small enterprises amounted to 655 million British pounds, by December 2017 this had decreased to 542 million British pounds. Whilst repayments by medium businesses decreased from approximately 1.6 billion British pounds in July 2011 to 1.1 billion British pounds in December 2017. Repayments by SMEs have a direct correlation as to the amount in lending by banks as seen here.
