This project investigates the impact of dietary low-fat Cheddar cheese on the gut microbiota using a human microbiota-associated (HMA) mouse model. Germ-free C57BL/6 mice were colonized with human fecal microbiota and fed either a control diet or a diet supplemented with low-fat Cheddar cheese for six weeks. Fecal samples were collected longitudinally and analyzed using 16S rRNA gene (V4 region) amplicon sequencing to characterize changes in microbial community composition and diversity associated with cheese supplementation. This dataset supports analysis of diet-microbiome interactions in a controlled experimental model.
本研究借助人类菌群关联(human microbiota-associated, HMA)小鼠模型,探究膳食低脂切达干酪(low-fat Cheddar cheese)对肠道菌群的影响。将无菌C57BL/6小鼠定植人类粪便菌群后,随机分为两组,分别饲喂基础对照日粮与添加低脂切达干酪的日粮,干预周期为六周。纵向采集粪便样本,通过16S rRNA基因(16S rRNA gene)V4区扩增子测序技术进行分析,以解析干酪补充干预相关的微生物群落组成与多样性变化。本数据集可为受控实验模型中的膳食-菌群互作分析提供支持。
