Contain the raw micro-CT data of specimen NIGP179459.Micro-CT scanning was conducted at the micro-CT lab at the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, using a Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa instrument. We used a 50 kV operating voltage of the X-ray tube, with a thin filter (LE2) to avoid beam-hardening artifacts. Because of the microscopic size of specimen NIGP179459, a charge-coupled device (CCD)-based optical microscope (4×) was applied. This system produces data sets with a voxel dimension of 1.63 μm. We obtained 2501 equi-angular projections over 360º. The exposure time for each projection was one second.

本数据集包含标本NIGP179459的显微计算机断层扫描(micro-CT)原始数据。扫描工作在中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所显微CT实验室完成,使用蔡司Xradia 520 Versa设备。实验设置X射线管工作电压为50 kV,并搭配薄滤片(LE2)以消除束硬化伪影。鉴于标本NIGP179459尺寸极其微小,采用了基于电荷耦合器件(charge-coupled device, CCD)的4×光学显微镜进行成像。该系统生成的数据集体素维度为1.63 μm。扫描过程中共采集360°范围内的2501幅等角度投影图像,单幅投影的曝光时长为1秒。
