Measurements of Ceratopsid Skulls

This spreadsheet contains original cranial measurements of ceratopsid (horned dinosaur) skulls from a variety of museums. Institutions include MOR (Museum of the Rockies), NHMU (Natural History Museum of Utah), ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), TMP (Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology), and USNM (National Museum of Natural History, Washington, D.C.). These measurements were taken using digital calipers and measuring tape, to the nearest millimeter, and measurements standards are explained in the file itself. Most of the data have not been published previously, although some were used to support a numerical analysis presented in Farke (2008). Terminology for sinus structures follows Farke (2010). 本数据集收录了来自多家博物馆的角龙科（Ceratopsid，有角恐龙）头骨的原始颅部测量数据。数据来源机构包括落基山博物馆（MOR，Museum of the Rockies）、犹他州自然历史博物馆（NHMU，Natural History Museum of Utah）、皇家安大略博物馆（ROM，Royal Ontario Museum）、皇家泰勒古生物学博物馆（TMP，Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology）以及华盛顿特区国家自然历史博物馆（USNM，National Museum of Natural History, Washington, D.C.）。本次测量采用数显卡尺与钢卷尺完成，测量精度为1毫米（精确至最接近的毫米单位），测量规范详见本数据集文件内部。本数据集绝大多数数据此前从未公开发表，仅部分数据曾用于支撑Farke（2008）发表的数值分析研究。窦状结构的相关术语遵循Farke（2010）的定义标准。
