We propose observations of new supernova remnant (SNR) candidates in the LargeMagellanic Cloud (LMC). Building on a successful campaign to observe candidateswith ROSAT detections we now propose observations of the lowest X-ray surfacebrightness SNR candidates which were found in the newest eROSITA data andconfirmed in multi-wavenlength observations. The high sensitivity of XMM-Newtonwill allow us to confirm SNRs at the faintest end of the X-ray luminosityfunction (XLF) and study their plasma properties and age as well as the ambientinterstellar medium (ISM). 本研究提出针对大麦哲伦星系(Large Magellanic Cloud, LMC)内新的超新星遗迹(supernova remnant, SNR)候选体的观测计划。依托此前利用伦琴X射线卫星(ROSAT)探测候选体并取得成功的观测项目,我们此次提出针对最新eROSITA数据中发现、且经多波段观测验证的低X射线面亮度超新星遗迹候选体的观测计划。XMM-牛顿望远镜(XMM-Newton)的高灵敏度将使我们能够确认处于X射线光度函数(X-ray luminosity function, XLF)最暗端的超新星遗迹,并研究其等离子体特性、年龄以及周围星际介质(interstellar medium, ISM)的性质。【文本已截断!完整内容请查阅原始数据集】
