Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired in the eastern North Pacific Ocean during the Healy expedition HLY-04-01 (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Healy expedition HLY-04-01 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Shannon McArthur). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Sidescan, Acoustic Backscatter, and Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.2. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): NOAA Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis (DART), and funding was provided by NOAA.

本数据集依托船载SeaBeam 2112多波束声呐系统（Multibeam Sonar）采集，采集工作开展于2004年Healy科考航次HLY-04-01期间，首席科学家为香农·麦卡瑟（Shannon McArthur）博士。本数据集文件采用MBsystem格式，包含侧扫（Sidescan）、声学背散射（Acoustic Backscatter）与条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）数据，由GMRT团队借助开源MB-System多波束声呐处理软件完成处理，属于GMRT综合项目（GMRT Synthesis）的组成部分。本数据集已纳入GMRT综合数据集版本2.2。本次数据采集工作隶属于美国国家海洋和大气管理局（NOAA）海啸深海评估与报告系统（DART）项目，资助方为NOAA。
