Centre for Environmental Radioactivity (CERAD), Research Area 3 - Biological Responses: Transgenerational hereditary, reproductive and epigenetic effects.

The main aim of this focus area is to generate new knowledge from detailed endpoint analyses after gamma radiation exposures, plus-minus secondary stressors, for a few selected model species. A special focus has been on effects related to reproduction and genotoxic effects, and underpinning mechanistic explanatory mechanisms involving transcriptomics and epigenetic regulation.

本研究重点领域的核心目标，是针对若干选定的模式物种，对经γ射线辐照（伴或不伴次级应激因素）后的实验样本开展详细终点分析，进而生成全新的研究新知。本研究的核心关注点尤为聚焦于生殖相关效应与遗传毒性效应，并针对涉及转录组学（Transcriptomics）与表观遗传调控（Epigenetic Regulation）的支撑性机制展开阐释。
