Dataset for: Adoption estimates of modern sweetpotato varieties in selected countries in Southeast, South Asia and East Asia.

Eight countries in Southeast Asia which are considered major sweetpotato producing areas were selected this study. This study adopts a refined expert elicitation (EE) approach. EE workshops were used as an inexpensive alternative to the collection of national representative adoption data. An average of 13 experts working in the sweetpotato value chain participated in a one-day event to elicit perceived adoption rates. In total, 228 experts attended in 18 workshops held during 2014-2016.

本研究选取东南亚8个被认定为甘薯主产区的国家作为研究对象，采用改进型专家征询（Expert Elicitation, EE）方法。该方法依托专家征询工作坊，作为获取全国代表性甘薯种植采用率数据的低成本替代方案。每场单日活动平均有13位甘薯价值链领域的专家参与，以征集专家预估的甘薯种植采用率。2014至2016年间共举办18场工作坊，累计共有228位专家参与其中。
