Translation Database, 2008–Present

The Translation Database is designed to identify all works of literature (nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and children’s) published in English translation beginning in January 2008. The goal was to identify all new voices and new works made available to English readers in America. No re-translations are included in this (e.g., a book published in 2020 that was available in a different translation in 1968, is not included in the data), and books not available for sale in American through normal means are also excluded. The data can be sorted and parsed by language, country, publisher, pub date, author or translator gender, etc.
