Translation Database, 2008–Present

The Translation Database is designed to identify all works of literature (nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and children’s) published in English translation beginning in January 2008. The goal was to identify all new voices and new works made available to English readers in America. No re-translations are included in this (e.g., a book published in 2020 that was available in a different translation in 1968, is not included in the data), and books not available for sale in American through normal means are also excluded. The data can be sorted and parsed by language, country, publisher, pub date, author or translator gender, etc.本翻译数据库（Translation Database）旨在识别2008年1月起以英语译本形式出版的所有文学作品，涵盖非虚构作品、虚构作品、诗歌及儿童文学作品。其核心目标是挖掘所有面向美国英语读者推出的新锐创作声音与全新译介作品。本数据集不收录重译本（例如，2020年出版但早在1968年已有其他译本的书籍，均不在本次数据范围内），同时也排除了无法通过正规渠道在美国市场销售的书籍。该数据集可按语言、国别、出版社、出版日期、作者或译者性别等维度进行分类与解析。
