多项横断面研究报告了口腔疾病与阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停 (OSA) 之间的关联。 然而,目前还没有关于口腔微生物群的结构和组成以及同时评估与儿科 OSA 代谢紊乱的潜在关联的报道。采用综合方法,将基于高通量 16S rRNA 基因测序的宏基因组学、基于超高效液相色谱-四极杆飞行时间质谱和气相色谱-飞行时间质谱的代谢组学相结合, 用于评估口腔微生物组和尿液代谢组。
Multiple cross-sectional studies have reported associations between oral diseases and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). However, no studies to date have examined the structure and composition of the oral microbiota, nor have they simultaneously evaluated the potential correlations between oral microbiota and metabolic disorders associated with pediatric OSA. This study adopted a comprehensive strategy that integrates metagenomics based on high-throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing and metabolomics based on ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry and gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry to profile the oral microbiome and urinary metabolome.
