CircRNA in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

CircRNAs are single stranded RNA. Many of them are endogenous, stable, abundant, and exhibit cell type, tissue, and developmental stage specific expression patterns in eukaryotic cells. However, a few studies have shown that circRNAs are linked to physiological and pathological development in pulmonary hypertension.

环状RNA（circRNAs）是一类单链RNA。在真核细胞中，多数环状RNA为内源性分子，具备稳定性佳、丰度较高的特性，且呈现出细胞类型、组织以及发育阶段特异性的表达模式。不过，已有少量研究表明，环状RNA与肺动脉高压的生理及病理进程密切相关。
