Dataset: UTAUT and organizational legitimacy in Fintech adoption in Brazil

This dataset contains survey responses collected from Brazilian individuals over the age of 18 who are familiar with fintechs regarding their intention to use Fintech services. The study applies the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and introduces perception of organizational legitimacy as an additional construct. The data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine how UTAUT dimensions and legitimacy influence the intention to use Fintechs. Files include: (1) the anonymized dataset, (2) a README file with a codebook describing the variables. Data collection followed ethical approval from UNISINOS Research Ethics Committee.本数据集收录了来自巴西18岁以上熟悉金融科技（fintechs）的个体的问卷反馈，主题为其使用金融科技服务的意向。本研究采用技术接受与使用统一理论（Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, UTAUT），并新增组织合法性感知作为额外研究构念。研究通过结构方程模型（Structural Equation Modeling, SEM）对数据进行分析，以探究技术接受与使用统一理论各维度及合法性感知如何影响个体使用金融科技服务的意向。 数据集包含以下文件：(1) 经匿名化处理的数据集；(2) 一份附带变量编码手册的README文件。本次数据采集已获得UNISINOS研究伦理委员会的伦理审批。
