We performed a genome wide methylation scan using the Illumina HumanMethylation27 BeadChip on DNAs extracted from the leukocytes of 8 hypertensive cases and 8 normotensive age-matched controls. All subjects were African American males aged 14-23 years. Bisulphite converted DNA from the 16 samples were hybridised to the Illumina Infinium 27k Human Methylation Beadchip v1.2

本研究采用Illumina HumanMethylation27微珠芯片(Illumina HumanMethylation27 BeadChip),对从8例高血压病例与8例年龄匹配的正常血压对照者的白细胞中提取的脱氧核糖核酸(DNA)开展全基因组甲基化扫描(genome wide methylation scan)。所有研究对象均为14至23岁的非裔美国男性。本研究将16份样本经亚硫酸氢盐转化得到的脱氧核糖核酸,与Illumina Infinium 27k人类甲基化微珠芯片v1.2(Illumina Infinium 27k Human Methylation Beadchip v1.2)进行杂交。
