Compiled sinking POC flux data collected by particle traps used to evaluate the MSPACMAM

A compilation of 22 vertical profiles of sinking particulate organic carbon (POC) fluxes measured with either free-drifting sediment traps (i.e., surface tethered and neutrally buoyant sediment traps) or Marine Snow Catchers. The compiled raw data were processed as follows: (1) all POC flux observations were binned to the model grid and (2) individual POC flux profiles were normalized by their shallowest flux.

本数据集汇集了22组沉降颗粒有机碳（particulate organic carbon，POC）通量的垂直剖面数据，相关数据通过自由漂移沉积物捕集器（即表面系留式、中性浮力式沉积物捕集器）或海洋雪捕获器（Marine Snow Catchers）采集得到。所汇编的原始数据按如下步骤进行处理：(1) 将所有POC通量观测值按模型网格进行分箱；(2) 以各单条POC通量剖面的最浅处通量为基准完成归一化处理。
