Biomass of Green algae in the northern Wadden Sea at station Sylt_Gröning in 2008

At each site species community and algal percent coverage of an area of 50x50 m is determined. To determine biomass, ten replicates samples per site (10x10 cm) are taken by removing the algae from the sediment surface. In the laboratory, biomass (ash free dry weight) of each species within the samples is determined by drying the algae at 75°C for three days followed by ashing at 500°C for six hours.

在每个样地，均对50米×50米区域内的物种群落及藻类盖度百分比进行测定。为测定生物量，每个样地均采集10份规格为10厘米×10厘米的重复样本，采样方式为刮取沉积物表面附着的藻类。在实验室中，通过将样本内的藻类置于75℃下烘干3天，随后在500℃下灰化6小时的流程，测定样本中各物种的生物量（无灰干重，ash free dry weight）。
