Summary: modENCODE_submission_3958 This submission comes from a modENCODE project of Gary Karpen. For full list of modENCODE projects, see http://www.genome.gov/26524648 Project Goal: We aim to determine the locations of 125 chromosomal proteins across the Drosophila melanogaster genome. The proteins under study are involved in basic chromosomal functions such as DNA replication, gene expression, gene silencing, and inheritance. We will perform Chromatin ImmunoPrecipitation (ChIP) using the Illumina NGS platform. 项目目标:本研究旨在定位黑腹果蝇(Drosophila melanogaster)全基因组范围内的125种染色体蛋白。所研究的蛋白参与DNA复制、基因表达、基因沉默及遗传等核心染色体生物学功能。我们将采用染色质免疫沉淀(Chromatin ImmunoPrecipitation, ChIP)技术结合Illumina NGS平台开展实验。实验初期将使用3种细胞系和2个胚胎阶段的染色质进行蛋白定位检测,后续还会将部分蛋白的分析拓展至另外4种动物组织/发育阶段。
