Prematurity is a leading cause of infant mortality, and the use of mechanical ventilation increases the risk of respiratory complications. This has sparked discussions about the impact of secretion clearance techniques in premature infants. The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of two secretion clearance techniques in mechanically ventilated premature infants. Methods: Participants were randomly assigned to either the conventional chest physiotherapy (CPT; n=22) group or the expiratory flow increase technique (EFIT; n=21) group. Each participant underwent four consecutive daily sessions. Peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate (HR), respiratory rate (RR), tidal volume (VT), and pain levels were measured before, immediately after, and several minutes post-procedure.

早产是婴儿死亡的首要诱因之一,而机械通气会进一步提升呼吸系统并发症的发生风险。这一临床现状引发了学界对早产儿呼吸道分泌物清除技术应用效果的广泛探讨。本研究旨在对比两种呼吸道分泌物清除技术在接受机械通气的早产儿中的应用效果。方法:研究对象被随机分为常规胸部物理治疗(conventional chest physiotherapy, CPT;n=22)组与呼气流量提升技术(expiratory flow increase technique, EFIT;n=21)组,所有受试者均接受连续4天、每日1次的干预疗程。分别于操作前、操作即刻及操作后数分钟,采集受试者的外周血氧饱和度(peripheral oxygen saturation, SpO2)、心率(heart rate, HR)、呼吸频率(respiratory rate, RR)、潮气量(tidal volume, VT)及疼痛评分。
