A chromosome-level genome assembly provides new insights into lac synthesis of scale insects

we first assembled the contig of Kerria lacca using Illumina and Nanopore sequencing, and assisted the assembly by Hi-C and T2T techniques to obtain the genome of K. lacca at the chromosome 0 gap level.

本研究首先利用Illumina测序与纳米孔（Nanopore）测序技术组装了紫胶虫（Kerria lacca）的重叠群（contig），并借助Hi-C染色质构象捕获技术与端粒到端粒（T2T）技术辅助组装，最终获得了染色体级零间隙的紫胶虫基因组。
