Interactive Design Objects with Augmented Reality Technology in Areas of Hotel Architecture in Indonesia

Augmented Reality (AR) is an information technology medium capable of presenting 3D visuals into the user's environment using a tracking system. This technology or digital medium is considered capable of solving problems often experienced by designers, namely designers facing obstacles in realizing their projects. Furthermore, radical changes in technology and information sharing are changing the way designers practice to find solutions. Hotels, as lodgings for guests, are equipped with various facilities to enhance guest service, particularly comfort and experience. The lounge/bar and swimming pool are the most sought-after facilities by hotel visitors. By implementing interactive elements in these two hotel facilities, interactions and a more active atmosphere for guests can be created. With augmented reality information technology, the visualization of interactive design objects will become more realistic and can eliminate the obstacles of indecipherable imagination.
