AtXRN4 affects the turnover of plant small RNAs

Small RNA (sRNA) turnover is a key but poorly understood mechanism that decided the homeostasis of sRNAs. Animal XRN genes contribute the degradation of sRNAs, but the possible functions of their plant orthologues in sRNA degradation are unknown.小分子RNA（small RNA，sRNA）的降解周转是调控sRNA稳态的关键机制，但目前对该机制的认知仍较为有限。动物的XRN基因参与sRNA的降解过程，但其植物同源基因在sRNA降解中可能发挥的功能尚未明确。
