Supporting Data for "Does scientific interest in the nature impacts of food align with consumer information-seeking behavior?" (Tulloch et al. 2020, Earth's Future)

Data from Google Trends and Web of Science support generalized linear models (GLM) to evaluate trends over time in public and scientific attention to different environmental impacts of agri-food systems over time.The trends in relative volume of public Google queries were compared to trends in the number of scientific articles from Web of Science related to agri-food systems (agricultural production or food) and three major impacts: chemical pollution, greenhouse gas emissions or biodiversity loss.<br><br>

本数据集采用谷歌趋势（Google Trends）与Web of Science的数据，借助广义线性模型（generalized linear models, GLM），针对农业食品系统（agri-food systems）的各类环境影响，分别评估公众与科研领域关注度的时间变化趋势。

研究将公众谷歌搜索量的相对热度趋势，与Web of Science中收录的、围绕农业食品系统（涵盖农业生产或食品范畴）及三大类核心环境影响——化学污染、温室气体排放与生物多样性丧失——的科研论文数量的时间变化趋势进行了对比。
