Arabinogalactan proteins are proteoglycans known to have important roles during cell growth and development, namelly during pollen tube growth. A microarray experiment was performed on agp6 agp11 pollen tubes to search for genetic interactions in the context of pollen tube growth. Overall design: RNA from wt and mutant pollen tubes was extracted after 8h of in vitro germination and hybridized on Affimetrix microarrays.
阿拉伯半乳聚糖蛋白(Arabinogalactan proteins, AGPs)是一类蛋白聚糖,已知其在细胞生长与发育过程中发挥关键作用,尤其参与花粉管生长过程。为探究花粉管生长背景下的遗传互作机制,本研究针对agp6与agp11突变体的花粉管开展了微阵列(microarray)实验。实验设计概述:体外萌发8小时后,分别提取野生型(wild type, WT)与突变体花粉管的总RNA,将其与Affymetrix微阵列芯片进行杂交。
