With the widespread use of volatile organophosphorus pesticides (OPs), air pollution and damage to the human and insect olfactory systems have attracted attention, but little is known about the mechanisms of olfactory neurotoxicity. This study aims to use the tobacco cutworm moth (Spodoptera litura) as a model to understand the mode of action of volatile dichlorvos-induced olfactory dysfunction. RNA-Sequencing was performed in the antenna and head of the the tobacco cutworm moth.
