青藏高原发育了大量的古滑坡,确定这些古滑坡的触发时代对于理解地质灾害的机理和规律至关重要,为未来地质灾害的预测和防范提供参考。同样,确定古滑坡的触发时代还可用于重建过去气候变化和环境演化的研究,为未来环境保护和可持续发展提供科学依据。乱石包古滑坡是位于高原东南部毛垭坝盆地的大型高速远程古滑坡,引起了学界广泛关注。然而,对该古滑坡的触发时代仍存在争议。本研究基于10Be暴露年龄测年技术,获得20个10Be暴露年龄,并通过统计分析和敏感性测试排除异常年龄,将该古滑坡的触发时代厘定在5.2±0.2 ka,认为该滑坡是由约~5 ka左右断裂活动所导致的区域地震所触发。同时,气候条件和断层的蠕滑作用也对斜坡的应力场和稳定性也产生了一定的影响。这项研究为我们进一步了解青藏高原滑坡灾害的发生机制和规律提供了重要的参考。

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau hosts numerous ancient landslides. Determining the triggering ages of these ancient landslides is critical for understanding the mechanisms and patterns of geological hazards, and provides references for the prediction and prevention of future geological disasters. Additionally, constraining the triggering ages of ancient landslides can also be applied to reconstructing past climate change and environmental evolution, providing scientific basis for future environmental protection and sustainable development. The Luanshibao Ancient Landslide, a large-scale high-speed and long-runout ancient landslide located in the Maoya Basin, southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has attracted widespread attention from the academic community. However, there remains controversy regarding the triggering age of this ancient landslide. In this study, we obtained 20 10Be exposure ages using the 10Be exposure dating technique. After excluding anomalous ages via statistical analysis and sensitivity tests, we constrained the triggering age of this ancient landslide to 5.2±0.2 ka, and proposed that the landslide was triggered by a regional earthquake caused by fault activity around ~5 ka. Meanwhile, climatic conditions and fault creep have also exerted certain influences on the stress field and stability of the slope. This study provides an important reference for further understanding the occurrence mechanisms and patterns of landslide hazards on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
