Aging-related alterations of murine intestinal microbiota

Aging is a progressive decline of cellular functions that ultimately affects whole-body homeostasis. Alterations in the gut microbiota associated with aging have been reported, however, the molecular basis of the relationships between host aging and gut microbiota remains obscure. By using longitudinal microbiome and metabolome characterization, we will show that the aging-related alterations in the intestinal environment.衰老是细胞功能进行性衰退的过程，最终可影响全身稳态。已有研究报道与衰老相关的肠道菌群改变，但宿主衰老与肠道菌群之间关联的分子机制仍不明确。本研究将通过纵向微生物组与代谢组表征分析，揭示肠道环境的衰老相关变化。
