HLY-06-01 Raw 150 KHz ADCP Data [Grebmeier/LDEO]

This dataset includes data from the 150 KHz ADCP system onboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Healy during the 2006 HLY0601 cruise. This cruise was not a BEST project cruise, but the data are included here for historical purposes. The Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) system measures currents in the depth range from about 30 to 300 m in good weather. In bad weather or in ice, the range is less, and sometimes no valid measurements are made. The individual data files have been collected into tar files according to the sequence number. The following is the list of file extensions and their meaning for the data files contained in the tar files: ENR - Raw Binary ADCP Data; ENS - Binary ADCP Data; ENX - Binary Ensemble Data; STA - Short Term Averaged Data; LTA - Long Term Averaged Data; N1R - Raw NMEA ASCII Data; N2R - Raw NMEA ASCII Data; NMS - Averaged Nav Data

本数据集涵盖美国海岸警卫队"希利号"巡逻舰在2006年HLY0601航次期间，其搭载的150 kHz声学多普勒流速剖面仪（Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler，ADCP）系统所采集的数据。本次航次不属于BEST项目航次，但为留存历史资料，本数据集仍纳入了这些数据。
声学多普勒流速剖面仪（ADCP）系统在天气条件良好时，可测量30米至300米深度范围内的海流；当遭遇恶劣天气或存在海冰时，有效测量范围会缩减，有时甚至无法获取有效测量数据。
各独立数据文件已按照序列编号打包至tar归档文件中。以下为各tar归档文件内数据文件的扩展名及其对应含义：
ENR — 原始二进制ADCP数据；
ENS — 二进制ADCP数据；

STA — 短期平均数据；
