healthy human gut metagenomics

The goal of this study is to characterize and to compare the bacterial species in the digestive system with diet, physical activity, and lifestyle practices, as well as metabolic markers such as glucose levels.This study consists of a baseline visit and two follow up visits within the same week. At the baseline visit, a fasted blood sample was collected to measure glucose levels, blood cholesterol, and other standard metabolic markers. Research staff also obtained satandard anthropometric measurements (e.g. height, weight, waist circumference)

本研究旨在表征消化系统内的细菌物种，并对比其与饮食、体力活动、生活方式习惯及血糖水平等代谢标志物之间的关联。本研究包含1次基线访视与2次随访访视，所有访视均在同一周内完成。在基线访视阶段，研究人员采集空腹血样以检测血糖水平、血胆固醇及其他标准代谢标志物，同时还获取了标准化人体测量学数据（如身高、体重、腰围）。
