本数据为乌鲁木齐河源1号冰川2018年物质平衡数据。单位mm。2017年消融季末、2018年消融季初与末各观测一次，综合三次观测数据解算2018年冬平衡与年平衡。天山一号冰川属双支冰斗山谷冰川、长2.2公里、平均宽度500米、面积1.828平方公里、最大厚度140米、最高点海拔4476米、年均运动速度约5米、冰舌末端海拔3734米、雪线平均高度为4055米、朝向东北、主流呈“S”型。

This dataset contains the 2018 mass balance data of Urumqi Glacier No. 1 (also referred to as Tianshan Glacier No. 1) at the headwaters of the Urumqi River, with the unit of millimeter (mm). Three field observations were conducted at the end of the 2017 ablation season, as well as the beginning and end of the 2018 ablation season. The 2018 winter mass balance and annual mass balance were calculated by integrating these three observation datasets. This glacier is a double-branch cirque valley glacier, with a total length of 2.2 km, an average width of 500 m, an area of 1.828 km², a maximum thickness of 140 m, its highest point at an elevation of 4476 m above sea level (a.s.l.), an average annual movement speed of approximately 5 m per year, the terminus of its main ice tongue at 3734 m a.s.l., a mean equilibrium line altitude (ELA) of 4055 m a.s.l., facing northeast, and its main trunk exhibiting an "S"-shaped morphology.
