Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures (ARMS) in Ireland

Study on the Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures (ARMS) in Ireland in the framework of ARMS-MBON programme. Samples were sequenced for the i) COI gene using mlCOIintF and jgHCO2198 primers, and ii) 18S rRNA gene using All18SF and All18SR primers. The European ARMS programme (ARMS-MBON) is a network of Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures (ARMS) placed in the vicinity of marine stations, ports, marinas, and Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) sites distributed over Europe and polar regions. The project was primarily funded through the Joint Research Activity (JRA1) of ASSEMBLE Plus, with financial contributions from the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, the Interreg project GEANS and with considerable in-kind contributions by the participating institutes. The project is an activity of the Genomic observatories network with relations to the European Marine Biological Resource Center (EMBRC). ASSEMBLE Plus as a project finished in 2022, but the ARMS-MBON programme continues under EMO BON.

欧洲自主礁监测计划（ARMS-MBON）是由自主礁监测结构（ARMS）组成的监测网络，其布设点位覆盖欧洲与极地地区，具体设置于海洋站、港口、游艇码头以及长期生态研究（Long-Term Ecological Research，LTER）站点周边。本项目主要由ASSEMBLE Plus的联合研究活动（Joint Research Activity，JRA1）提供核心资助，同时获得瑞典海洋与水资源管理局、Interreg项目GEANS的资金支持，以及各参与机构提供的大量实物捐助。本项目是与欧洲海洋生物资源中心（European Marine Biological Resource Center，EMBRC）建立关联的基因组观测网络的一项活动。ASSEMBLE Plus项目已于2022年结题，但ARMS-MBON计划目前仍在EMO BON框架下持续推进。
