Stone to Tools

Stone tools were once cutting edge technology. The process of making and using tools evolved into the manufacture of trade items, and trade itself. This is not a primitive art form, it is highly complex and requires special materials that were also traded over long distances. Even Clovis points from 10,000 years ago were traded and found hundreds of miles from where they were made. People also learned how to create full time jobs by producing and trading such items while extending the positive interaction of different groups. This is the local history of the South Western USA.

石器曾是尖端科技。制作与使用工具的工艺逐步演进为贸易商品的制造，乃至贸易活动本身。这并非原始的技艺形式，其工序极为复杂，且需要特殊原料——这类原料同样需通过长距离贸易获取。即便距今1万年的克洛维斯尖状器（Clovis points），也曾被远距离交易，其出土地点距离制作地可达数百英里。人类还通过生产与交易这类器物，创造出全职职业，同时增进了不同群体间的良性互动。本数据集所呈现的，正是美国西南部的本土历史。

该数据集由Capturing Reality公司的RealityCapture软件，基于134张影像，耗时3小时35分51秒生成。
