Restoration of vegetation and soil in the Horqin Sandy Land, Northern China

These data aimed to clarify the response of vegetation and soil properties to different restoration measures and dune topography, and to quantify dynamics over time. Vegetation and soil characteristics were evaluated at different topographic positions on dunes in the Horqin Sandy Land, with 5-, 25- and 35-year monitoring periods for grazing exclusion and tree planting, and 5- and 25-year monitoring periods for shrub planting.

本数据集旨在阐明植被与土壤属性对不同修复措施及沙丘地形的响应机制，并量化其随时间的动态变化规律。研究于科尔沁沙地（Horqin Sandy Land）的沙丘不同地形位置开展植被与土壤特征的调查评估，其中围封禁牧与植树造林的监测时长分别为5年、25年及35年，灌丛种植的监测时长为5年与25年。
